Pristine beaches

Well known for our white sands and crystal clear waters, Esperance has some of the beast beaches in the world. Head west along the Great Ocean Drive to see some of the our favourite spots, West Beach, Fourth Beach, Twilight and Eleven Mile Lagoon. Head a half hour East to discover Lucky Bay or with a bit more time on your hands, head 90km east to find Wharton Beach and spend the day surfing, snorkelling and swimming.

 

National parks

We are lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the greatest National Parks in the country. Cape Le Grand is a visitor’s favourite. Say hello to the friendly kangaroos at Lucky Bay, watch the sunset at the top of Frenchman Peak or explore the many marvellous beaches whilst admiring the native wildflowers along the way.

 

Eating out

Here in Esperance we have many great places to dine-in or takeaway. We recommend popping into Fish Face Restaurant for a some of their famous seafood dishes or Top End Takeaway for quality takeaway fish & chips to be enjoyed on the foreshore, only a minutes walk away. Ocean Blues, Taylor St Quarters and Loose Goose also capture the fine dining experience or head to The Pier Hotel for an upmarket pub grub experience.

 

Shopping

Esperance has lots of great retail stores as well as local artisans and produce. Dempster Street is practically on our doorstep, with plenty of stores to spend your time at when your not exploring our great beaches. Head to Bob and Jims for local produce and gourmet treats, The Museum Village for quaint shopping and Woven for great wardrobe staples. There are also numerous fishing supply stores to visit around the town.
